Out And About With Carolyn Ripley

I have been "gently" reminded by lots of people wondering
just where Carolyn's Corner has been. Well, I guess it has
been in the proverbial corner. It was really nice to be missed
and I really am sorry that I let other things take priority.
Lots of things have been happening on Thursday nights at
Davinci's. Nathan always has someone fun to join him
making it a double pleasure evening. Rick Cline and Jim
Lackey always add their wonderful touch. Kat Williams came
back to Hickory. She and Nathan filled the room. It had
been way to long, but she has promised to come back soon.
Wes Powers joined us on Veteran's Day. What a great
pleasure. Wes is in a band and travels extensively, so when
he can be here with us, it is a great treat. So many people
turned out to see Wes and Nathan and I will leave someone
out if I start naming people who were there but I will get
some of them. John Sigmon and Lisa, Sandy, Ann, two new
fans of Nathan's, Shelly and Brenda, Angela and Kent
stopped by, Byron, Debbie and Jerry, Chris and Wayne, and,
of course, Brooks was holding down his end of the bar.
Jeremy and Todd do a wonderful job of looking after
everybody. It was so nice to see everyone. If you missed
Nathan and Wes, you will have another opportunity at Rock
Barn on November 26th. It will be another great night I
promise.
My most favorite night with Nathan continues to be
Tuesday's. I love the fun, noise and crowds on Thursdays
but Tuesday's are a great night to just sit back and chill.
With the Holidays coming, hope you can grab a Tuesday
night for some great R & R.
Yes, the Holidays are upon us. I hope all of you have a
wonderful time and take at least one opportunity to see one
of Nathans' Holiday shows. This is Nathans' favorite time of
the year also and it shines through on each of his Holiday
performances. He will truly chase away any bah humbugs.
Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you while
you are "out and about."
